Day 1
Tuesday, September 29
The opening day is reserved for travel, allowing delegates to arrive in Boston, settle into the hotel, and adjust to the three-hour time difference. Based on the recommended itinerary, the group is expected to arrive at Boston Logan International Airport at approximately 6:59 p.m. The evening will conclude with an optional informal orientation, providing an opportunity to meet fellow delegates, review the days ahead, and begin building connections before the program officially begins.

Day 2
Wednesday, September 30
The program begins with an immersive introduction to Downtown Boston, where delegates will hear from the leaders responsible for stewarding the city's historic urban core and learn about the strategies shaping its continued evolution. Through presentations and guided exploration, the morning will examine downtown revitalization, economic development, placemaking, and district management. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to the Rose Kennedy Greenway, exploring one of Boston's most transformative public investments and the role its programming, stewardship, and design play in connecting neighborhoods and activating the public realm. The day concludes with a reception and group dinner, with locations to be announced.

Thursday, October 01
Day three explores Boston's remarkable waterfront transformation. The morning begins with perspectives from leading practitioners and subject-matter experts in urban planning and design before moving into Fort Point, where delegates will experience a neighborhood shaped by historic preservation, adaptive reuse, arts and culture, and waterfront revitalization. Following lunch at the Boston Children's Museum, the afternoon turns to the Seaport District, examining one of the country's most significant contemporary mixed-use developments through presentations and guided walking tours that highlight the planning, investment, and partnerships that transformed former industrial land into a thriving urban neighborhood. The day's programming concludes with an evening reception.

Friday, October 02
Conclude the program in Back Bay where the delegates will learn about the neighborhood’s historic character, major institutions, commercial activity, and public-realm investments including the recently completed Copley Park improvement project. A delegation discussion will conclude the Study Tour, and delegates will walk out of the session into Copley Sq Farmers Market as a fun finale.
